We keep this simple. We collect the least we can, we never sell it, and we only use it to cut your hair and to understand how our own website is being used.
01What you give us
If you claim the 15% off first visit offer, we collect your name, phone number, email address and which shop you prefer. That is it. We use it to send you the offer code and to recognise you as a first-time guest. If you call or email us, we hold that conversation the way any business would.
02What we measure automatically
We run our own lightweight visit counter instead of a third party advertising tracker. It records the page you viewed, roughly what kind of device you used (mobile, tablet or desktop), which site referred you, how long the visit lasted and whether you tapped a Book, Call or Directions button. It uses a random visit ID stored in your browser. It does not record your name, your IP address, your precise location, or anything about you as a person, and it never follows you to other websites.
03What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not run advertising pixels or build advertising audiences. We do not share your details with anyone except the service providers below, and only so the site can function.
04Who else is involved
Our booking system is hosted by our booking provider at thevaultbarberco.com, and it handles the details of your appointment under its own privacy policy. Our website hosting and database providers store the site and the offer requests on our behalf. Google Maps loads when you tap Directions. Instagram, Facebook and TikTok only see you if you choose to tap through.
05How long we keep things
Offer requests are kept while the offer is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate so we can compare one month to another. Ask us to delete your details and we will.
06Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing Sebastianandbane@icloud.com or calling (940) 407-2288. You can opt out of our visit counting entirely by visiting the site with ?nt=1 on the end of the address, which switches it off in your browser. If you are a Texas resident, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honour them.
07Children
We happily cut kids' hair, but this website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. A parent or guardian should book on their child's behalf.
08Security
Offer requests are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a private database. Access to that data is limited to the shop through a password protected portal. No system is perfect, but we treat your details as if they were our own.
